Typical band-pass characteristics of this 1.2/1.3GHz band-pass filter.

Through loss approximately -1.6dB or better.

Bandwidth @ -3dBpoints = 20MHz.

Attenuation @ +/- 60MHz of centre frequency in excess of -50dB

Filters are enclosed in an ABS enclosure.

Low loss "N" type connectors as standard.

Typical enclosure size for 1.2/1.3 GHz Filter:

16cm(L) * 13cm(W) * 5.5cm(H).

The above filter has been specifically designed to give suitable band-pass characteristics on the 1.2 / 1.3 GHz band for fast scan ATV working, with minimum through loss.
Designed to give good response characteristics at reasonable cost.

The filter is well suited for duplex working through repeaters, by the use of two antenna systems.
Although ideally suited for ATV working, the filter is suitable for any mode of operation where suppression of unwanted signals are required.
Each filter is pre-set to the required frequency.
Designed for inclusion in the receive system, the filter is however used on GB3GW, ATV repeater transmitter system to suppress the side-band noise. The transmitter power output is 18 watts.
A filter is also fitted on the receive system.
A number of these filters are already in used by local ATV stations.
