All filters are hand built to order.
·
Filters in the range between 430MHz and
1600MHz are enclosed in an ABS enclosure measuring
16cm(L) * 13cm(W) * 5.5cm(H). The physical
size may change depending on the availability of hardware.
·
Specifications
will also change from above depending on requirements and frequency.
·
When used on
transmit, a note should be taken of the SWR before the filter is
connected in circuit, also following the fitting of the filter. SWR can
be matched by filter tuning. If this is not observed a transmitter fault
can occur. This is also true if the filter is used beyond it designed
passband frequency. Continuous monitoring of SWR is recommended as good
practise. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
·
No
responsibility will be taken for transmitter faults.
·
“N” or “SO259”
sockets can be fitted to any filter, however above 400MHz “N” type is
recommended.
·
These filters are
passive components, no external power required.
·
It usually takes
about 10 days to build a filter; progress reports will be given
following order.
·
There are no
serviceable parts within the filter. If the filter is tampered with the
result will be damage to the filter.
·
Guide Price
